LANDSKAB

Introducing the Landskab collection, designed by the renowned Danish designer Cecilie Manz for Kasthall. This collection of rugs beautifully merges Kasthall's rich heritage of craftsmanship with Manz's unique design sensibility, resulting in timeless pieces that represent both tradition and innovation.

A TRIBUTE TO PURITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP

The Landskab collection draws inspiration from a desire to create something valuable and quiet that maintains the highest standards of quality and expression. Featuring four rug designs—two flatwoven and two hand-tufted—this collection composes a symphony of purity and emotion. Each rug is connected by a soothing color palette and the thoughtful inclusion of linen yarn.

– From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to include linen in the composition. I think it is one of the most beautiful raw materials, modest yet elegantly refined. Even in smaller amounts, it provides a beautiful brightness and reflection on the textile's surface, says Cecilie Manz.

LANDSKAB

The flatwoven rugs, Gryn and Korn, are described by Manz as "very thin, dense, dry, and hard like crispbread" and "coarse, robust, and thick," respectively. The hand-tufted rugs, Spire and Ålegræs, have different textures and heights, giving them distinctive and lively expressions.
