Bankeryd, in the south of Sweden, has been the setting of a congregation since the first church was built on this site during the middle ages. The existing church was built in 1865, designed by renowned Architect Johan Fredrik Åbom.

The Bankeryd church is designed in a typical classicist style. The church is light, spacious and inviting. The beautiful mural, painted in the same ambition byTorsten Nordberg, ads character to the room. The custom Häggå melange colour was based on the mural and the tempera painted interior, creating a perfect harmony.
