Located in the peaceful landscapes of Borås, Sweden, the Getaway is an extraordinary residence designed by the architectural firm Claesson Koivisto Rune. Owned by Anna and Patrik Johäll, this home merges Scandinavian design with its natural surroundings.
From the outset, the vision for the Getaway was clear: “We wanted to create a low-maintenance ‘treehouse,’ placed in the heart of nature with as small a footprint as possible,” explains Patrik Johäll. At the same time, they sought to capture the experience of a luxurious getaway without the need to travel. “Our idea was to recreate the feeling of staying at a fantastic hotel but within the comfort of our own home.”
